Being raised in a Christian community that believed in the ‘Futurist’ interpretation of Revelation, I was surprised to discover in my late teens that the true Christians through the centuries had been comforted and strengthened by what has been called the ‘Historicist’ interpretation. That brought a new enlightenment to me of what had been a difficult book to understand. Instead of a mysterious book of futuristic speculations, I discovered it to be an amazing historical account of the true Christian Churches journey through the ages. Over the many years since I discovered the ‘Historicist’ interpretation, I have researched church history, and the views of church leaders through the ages. This book is a record of that research. I have been so blessed by the sovereignty and foreknowledge of our Heavenly Father who has watched over the church in all its tribulations and spiritual warfare over the last 2,000 years.
May your hearts be also blessed as you read through my ‘Historicist’ interpretation of Revelation.
